Creation of a Dynamic E-Commerce site on a Static Host using client-side JavaScripting, for selling CD's at retail. Features include:

  • Dynamic Shopping Cart.
  • Dynamic Data (Site-wde variable Price, Title, Category).
  • Dynamic Order Form (Calculate Price x Qty, + Freight & Insurance + Totals).
  • Cookie to store Delivery/Contact Details - easier return shopping.
  • Secure Socket Layer (SSL) - credit card payment collection.
  • Site Searching Facility.
  • Browse by Category.
  • Only requires Static Host (economy level).
Why:
Core business activities left a small budget for the web-site development. Philip Powers approached Active Media looking for a dynamic site to be built <$4000 on a static hosting environment.

This site refects the style, colour and layout of Mother Nature Health Products pre-existing printed promotional materials for each product.

There is extensive product information. The site also features a SSL form for secure payment and an extensive product order form.

Minor data elements such as price are manipulated dynamically using a JS array.

Why:
Justin Young wanted an afordable site where existing clients can place their orders and secure payments. Attention to the design and colours of existing promotional materials was essential.

An elegant static site with information that also reflects the the quality of the Freshwater Point Homestead.

Key details such as the location, price and uniqueness of the accommodation available form the basis of this web sites purpose.

All presented within a pleasant and easily navigable structure that is serene in its form and layout. Allowing for leisurely perusal of the many features which make Freshwater Point a great place to stay.

Why:
Jan & Laurie required a fast loading site which reflected the aesthetics of their heritage accommodation in Tasmania. An economical "brochureware" site which contained all the necessary information for guests.
